The Theresa Swalwell Miracle of Music (M.O.M.) Fund is administered by the Greater Des Moines Community Foundation. Recipients must be nonprofit organizations providing music instruction or appreciation to young people. Non-profit organizations may apply on behalf of an individual or a group of students.
Theresa’s husband, Rick Swalwell, serves as Advisor to the Fund and works with an appointed M.O.M. Fund Committee to review applications. Recommendations are made annually to the Greater Des Moines Community Foundation and scholarships will be awarded to qualified applicants.
